Online shopping is a convenience that we have come to rely on, but I miss the excitement of finding holiday catalogs in the mailbox. This week, though, I opened the little metal door to find a surprise from J. Crew—an oversized catalog featuring holiday best sellers.
J. Crew has always been my favorite clothing brand. I have a closet full of J. Crew basics and staples that keep my wardrobe simple yet timeless. I have been investing in basics such as slim-fitting, ankle-length pants in navy and black colors, tissue turtlenecks that fit well under heavy coats, and elegant suede smoking slippers in every color offered. Of course, J. Crew Factory makes these purchases easier on my spending budget.
During the holidays, I add festive apparel to brighten darker pieces. This season, I added a red tartan plaid shirt with velvet polka dots. It’s just dressy enough to wear from day to night.
