If you’re like me, the one saving grace of an extended quarantine is having access to Netflix and Disney+. I’ve been streaming so many shows and movies, but nothing compared to the energy of Disney’s recording of Hamilton. My family spent most of July 4th (and 5th!) watching the Broadway spectacular. I was in awe of the music, performances, and choreography, so much so that I started missing New York like never before.
I tend to be an “uptown girl” favoring Fifth and Madison avenues, obviously for the high-end shopping. However, getting lost downtown – the harbor and Hudson Yards, Wall Street, and of course – Trinity Church – is a different type of thrill. I don’t know when I’ll get back to New York to browse through the charming shops in the Village and neighboring areas, so I’m living through older pictures for the time being. Here are some of my favorite shots from trips that I will never again take for granted:
