At the time of this post, most students are still unsure of how they’ll return to classes in coming weeks. Online, in-seat, full-time or part-time? My fall semester is going to be busy no matter what happens, so I’m starting to buy essentials that will brighten my mood even if plans change at the last minute.
Katie Kime is one of my favorite lifestyle brand designers. Her patterns are bold and bright, and they give a modern boost to classic style. I have ordered several things from the Katie Kime website, but I never thought a face covering would be one of them! I order the Marfa Toile print since I have so much navy blue in my closet. Katie Kime Face Coverings come in a pack of two matching masks. For every pack purchased, her company will send another mask to a worker on the front lines of the Covid-19 pandemic. The masks are made of two layers of 100% cotton, and each face covering has a pocket that will fit a medical grade mask or filter.
Next, I was happy to discover the Katie Kime/Mead Cambridge paperie collaboration at Target! Stationery is one of my favorite things, so I grabbed three planners in fun prints. I kept one 2020-21 planner for myself, gave one to my sister, and then offered one in an Instagram giveaway. I love the cheerful prints and wide writing space!
Finally, I can’t refuse a beautiful, gothic monogram — especially when it’s embroidered onto a bright white shirt. Katie Kime offers a number of button-down oxfords, and the quality is amazing. I wore this particular shirt a lot last fall, and I can’t wait to wear it again — even if it’s from my bedroom desk.
