Bonjour! I am very excited to post the summer issue of the Ava Styles Blog, which features the Parisian apparel brand, Sezane. I first discovered Sezane on Instagram, and I have been a loyal follower of the chic, European collections that stem from casual wear to resort attire.

My first purchase was nearly five years ago, and I ordered a pair of cream, leather sneakers that I have worn with nearly every neutral outfit in my closet. I was instantly taken with the personalized boxes and customer service materials that showcase maps of France.

Currently, I am updating my wardrobe to contain more professional pieces that are appropriate for interviews. I will be securing internships soon, so I want classic pieces that are sustainable. My most recent purchase from Sezane is a black-and-white polka-dot tee-shirt dress, which ties at the side and hangs just above the knee. I have partnered it with black espadrilles and a vintage Jackie 1961 hobo bag by Gucci.

Called “The Pippa Dress”, this particular style comes in a wide range of solid colors and fun prints. I am drawn to the green color, which reminds me of a style the Duchess of Cambridge would wear to a Wimbledon event!
Polka-dots have become famous again (please thank Harry Styles!) this season, which I expect to last through late summer and early fall. I am now in the market for polka-dot shirts and blouses to pair with slim, black ankle pants and Chanel flats.

If you have not visited Sezane online or in the New York City boutique location, hop online and fill your basket! Also, Sezane is celebrating its ninth anniversary, which means that you can enjoy $30 off your next order ($100 or more) with the code PARISMYLOVE.
Merci, Sezane!
