Like many of you, I have been at home 90% of each day since March 17th. I have lived in pajama pants and oversized tee-shirts, sleep shorts, and track shorts. I make myself get dressed whenever I do have to go out, and I usually reach for a pull-on dress that is light and cool in the summer heat. However, no one wants to sit around the house in a dress that feels like a business suit!
At the end of June, I logged on to the annual Lilly Pulitzer sale and held myself to just one purchase (since I have no place to go these days!). I fell in love with a vintage cut and color pattern that Lilly Pulitzer made famous in the 1960s. The white bows on the front accent pockets brighten this “Kathleen” dress and call for white sandals to tie the outfit together.
While I can’t say enough about this beautiful design, I have to admit that I’m more of a fan of the fabric. It stretches! This dress looks stiff and tailored on the hanger, but after a few minutes of wear, the fabric relaxes and forms to your more active shape.

Since this was a clearance sale, I don’t think the Kathleen dress is still available on the website, but I would encourage you to try other stretchy dresses that Lilly has to offer. For more ideas, visit my @avastylesblog page on the LikeToKnow.it app!
